Van Leeuwen began with a simple yellow truck in 2008. Flash forward to seven years later and they have grown into "a mini ice cream empire" (their words) with several more trucks and stores in NYC and LA. Their ice cream is served by the pint both coasts. Vegans rejoice, this place serves some of the best vegan ice cream. I can't even taste the difference.
